When I was contacted to join a team to work in the irrigation sector in Niger I didn’t have to think twice. It is true that in Niger, security is an issue and that many embassies give a negative travel advice. However, the possibility to work in irrigation sector in Niger, outweighed the negative travel advice.
Three reasons to love the city I hate
One of the main reasons to start travelling and working worldwide was to get out of Amsterdam. At least, it was for me. But there are still a lot of things I can enjoy in the city.
